SPONSORSHIP FAQS

What does my sponsorship support?
Sponsorships directly support the cement industry. The American Cement Association (ACA) receives 80% of conference net revenue and contributes 100% of its share to the ACA Education Foundation, which invests in cement research, fellowships, stipends, and workforce development initiatives. IEEE-IAS receives the remaining 20% in support of its technical mission.

Do I need to be an exhibitor to sponsor?
No. At this time, sponsorships and exhibits are separate opportunities. Companies may choose to sponsor, exhibit, or do both.

Are sponsorships limited or exclusive?
Some sponsorships are limited or exclusive and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is noted in the sponsorship prospectus or on the website.

What recognition is included with a sponsorship?
Recognition varies by sponsorship level and opportunity but may include:

  • Logo placement on the conference website and mobile app
  • Onsite signage and verbal recognition
  • Recognition in select conference materials or events

Specific benefits are outlined with each sponsorship.

When will sponsors receive recognition?
Sponsors receive recognition before, during, and after the conference, depending on the sponsorship. Early commitment allows for maximum visibility in pre-conference materials.

How does the Spouse/Partner Program sponsorship work?
Sponsors may opt to support the Spouse/Partner Program. Contributions help offset program costs and include recognition on the conference website and at designated program events, such as daily breakfasts.  Please note that this is not an additional cost but rather you agree to have 15% of your sponsorship level dues allocated to the Spouse/Partner program.

Are sponsorship fees tax-deductible?
Sponsorship fees are not typically tax-deductible as charitable contributions, as sponsors receive marketing and recognition benefits. Sponsors should consult their tax advisor for guidance.
